I think that the ultimate compliment for a tool is to have all similar tools referred to by the name of one tool. I’ve owned a version of that saw ever since and never had a motor die out on me. A couple of years later, I purchased my first saw and it was also a Skil HD77. I started working in the construction field 43 years ago and the first portable saw that I used was a Skil HD77.
